Where we started
Fast Snails all started when we did our first 48 hour film festival and decided, lets keep going and form a company! Since then we have filmed a pilot episode for a comedy series, filmed duologues, put on our first scratch & two of our members took their show to fringe 2025!
Thirst - 48 hour film festival
Thirst was our first project as a company, we had graduated and was looking for something to do creatively. We did not have a crew or anyone who specialised in filming, we were just actors who wanted to do something. So, we became crew, sound, writers, camera operators in an attempt to create something together. We learned a lot from doing thirst and will hold a special place as the beginning project that launched our company.

The Flat (pilot episode)
Written and directed by Jordan Monks, the Fast Snail team came together to film the pilot episode in just four days!
A Fast Snail Scratch Night
We had our first event as a company hosting our 'Garden Party' Scratch Night - this sold out completely! This was a great learning curve and was so exciting to have our first event be a success!
Filming Duologues
We started to film duologues to gain more experience in filming whilst also getting more material for showreels! We have went on to help others record material for their own showreels.

Note Of Concern Edinburgh Fringe 2025

Two of our snails took their show 'Note of Concern' to the Edinburgh Fringe 2025, after a successful run - they are now taking it to the Dundee Fringe!
Music
All of our Snails have their unique talents which help Fast Snail Productions be what it is. Our Snail Robbie is a sound designer/musician who has recently released his first single on Spotify. Robbie also makes the music for 'The Flat' pilot episode.
What's Next?
Whilst all of our Snails are busy with their own individual projects and passions, we have a lot planned for Fast Snail Productions. It's a great umbrella to come together and support each others work using our shared platform. We have a lot of ideas and exciting stuff we are looking forward to so keep up to date with us on Instagram!
